The general terms and conditions of Moortgat Consumer Services ("MCS") as described herein (the "General Terms and Conditions") apply to every product offered on the webshop and all deliveries. Placing an order implies acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are exclusively subject to Belgian law.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
The products offered by MCS comply with legal standards and may be sold online by MCS.
Information, images, verbal communications, and specifications regarding all offers and key product features provided via telephone or email are presented as accurately as possible. However, MCS is not liable for any advice given, printing errors on the website, or technical data provided by suppliers or manufacturers.
Each product indicates its availability. MCS strives to communicate this data correctly. However, unforeseen stock errors or discontinued products may occur. In such cases, MCS will inform you as soon as possible and propose a solution.
MCS may include links to third-party websites that may be of interest or informative to visitors. These links are purely informational. MCS is not responsible for the content or use of these websites.
PURCHASE
MCS primarily offers its webshop products to consumers. Businesses may only purchase products as corporate gifts, and resale is strictly prohibited.
The agreement between MCS and the buyer is established when the buyer accepts MCS's terms and conditions and fulfills them. A missing signature does not affect the binding nature of the agreement.
MCS reserves the right to refuse an order or apply additional conditions, including in cases of:
MCS always confirms purchases via email. If no confirmation email has been sent, the agreement is not yet binding.
Businesses can only place orders for amounts over €100.00 (excl. VAT and shipping costs) and must indicate that these purchases are for corporate gifting.
PAYMENT
Products purchased from MCS must be paid using the available payment methods.
MCS retains ownership of all goods until full payment has been received.
To ensure secure online transactions, payment details are encrypted using SSL technology. No additional software is required to make secure payments.
If businesses require an invoice, they must provide their VAT number when placing the order or contact MCS at klantendienst.shop@vedett.com within 7 days after the purchase date.
DELIVERY AND SHIPPING TIMES
The delivery times provided by MCS are estimates and not binding. The maximum delivery time within Belgium is 30 days after order confirmation. Different rates and delivery times apply to international orders.
MCS delivers to the following countries:
Belgium, Netherlands, France, Germany, Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Czech Republic, Sweden.
MCS does not deliver alcoholic products outside of Belgium.
Delivery is carried out exclusively via courier service, unless otherwise agreed before purchase. More information on courier services is available at bpost website.
Shipping costs are communicated before purchase confirmation. If shipping costs cannot be calculated automatically, an indication will be provided.
Once the order is delivered to the specified address, the risk is transferred to the buyer.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL & RETURNS
Consumers have a 14-day withdrawal period in accordance with Belgian economic law. This right does not apply to business purchases.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify MCS within 14 days of delivery and return the goods in their original, unused, and undamaged state.

MCS will refund the full purchase amount (excluding shipping costs where applicable) within 30 days after receiving the returned goods.
If an order was delivered to a pick-up point and was not collected within 14 days, the shipping costs will not be refunded.
No refund will be issued if products do not meet the return conditions. If desired, the item can be resent at the buyer’s expense.

WARRANTY
MCS complies with legal warranty regulations, which vary per product.
MCS is responsible for warranty claims, except for return shipping costs incurred by the consumer.
DEFECTS
Upon receipt, buyers must inspect the goods immediately and verify:
Any non-conformity must be reported within 2 months (or within 5 working days for businesses). The costs for returning defective goods are borne by MCS.
FORCE MAJEURE
MCS is not liable for unforeseeable circumstances beyond its control (force majeure). If such circumstances persist for more than 8 weeks, both parties may terminate the agreement without compensation.
PRICES
All prices are in Euros (€) and include VAT. Shipping costs are stated separately.
Offers are valid while stocks last. Quotes are valid for 4 weeks unless otherwise stated.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this website, including logos, trademarks, images, and texts, is protected by intellectual property rights owned by MCS or third parties.
QUESTIONS & COMPLAINTS
Complaints must be submitted within 7 days after delivery. If a complaint is justified, MCS will exchange the goods.

DISPUTES
All agreements and disputes fall exclusively under Belgian law. Any legal disputes will be handled by the court of Mechelen, unless otherwise required by law.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
MCS strives to ensure that all information on the website is accurate and up to date, but errors may occur. MCS is not liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from website use.
If errors are found, users can notify the website administrator.
MCS reserves the right to modify website content at any time without prior notice.
MCS is not responsible for any external website content accessed via hyperlinks on its webshop.
